Is Black Pearl Granite Hard To Keep Clean

I have black granite floors and black laminate countertops.

Is black pearl granite hard to keep clean.

I d say honed leathered granite is actually easier to keep smudge free. Many people also love black pearl granite because of its hard wearing qualities its ability to keep clean easily and its cost effectiveness. Each variety can add an interesting dynamic to a kitchen or bathroom design. You can effectively clean black granite countertops simply with water and mild soap.

I was granite shopping the other day and had never heard of leathered granite and fell in love. I love the overall look of black floors countertops. Although it s overwhelmingly black and dark you can see lots of other flecks of colour in this beautiful mottled stone such as gold silver green and grey. I was nervous that you d see droplets of water and all the crumbs.

Absolute black granite is jet black and consistent with its color and texture while black pearl granite has dark grey in the color as well as flecks of silver mica. It s hard to seal it wrong but sealing needs to be done every year. When i feel ridges i know there s dirt. Any feedback on that would be appreciated.

The problem is the color not the material. I have small kids too. Solid black granite can be harder than other to keep clean. You probably needed to seal them.

The only color they had was black do you find it hard to keep clean. Both are very difficult to keep clean because the dirt is almost impossible to see.
